1. 예술은 생존이다
나는 생존을 위해 예술을 한다. 그러나 그것은 굴욕이 아닌, 가장 날것의 창조다.
어느 날 작업실에 쌀이 떨어졌지만, 그 절박함 속에서도 붓을 놓을 수 없었다.
그 순간 깨달았다. 이 행위가 곧 내가 살아가는 이유이며,
나의 메시지는 현실에 뿌리내려야 한다고.

2. 나는 질문한다
나는 세상에 순응하지 않는다.
자꾸 “왜?”라고 물으며, 틀을 흔들고, 정의되지 않은 것을 드러낸다.
불안을 안고 질문을 던지다 보면,
그 틈새에서 새로운 가능성이 움튼다.

3. 메시지는 무기다
단순한 장식이 아닌, 선언으로서의 시각 언어.
아름다움은 수단이며, 파장은 목적이다.
누군가는 이 표현이 과격하다고 말하지만,
나는 이 무기가 폭력이 아닌 변화를 위한 힘이라 믿는다.
세상을 베어 상처 주는 칼이 아니라,
속박을 끊어내는 도구가 되고자 한다.

4. 나는 해체하고 재조립한다
전통과 관습, 재료와 기법을 해체해
새로운 의미로 다시 쌓아 올린다.
낡은 포스터 조각을 잇고, 버려진 금속을 주워내는 과정에서
오히려 전혀 다른 생명력이 탄생한다.
이것이 내가 추구하는 실험과 재창조의 쾌감이다.

5. 거리와 전시장의 경계를 허문다
나의 작업은 전시장 안에만 머무르지 않는다.
벽, 도시, 브랜드, 디지털 공간 —
그 어디든 메시지를 심을 수 있는 무대다.
캔버스를 벗어나, 사람들이 오가는 현장에서
삶과 예술이 한데 뒤섞이게 만든다.

6. 나는 대중과 연대한다
예술은 소통이자 연대다.
나의 작업은 독백이 아닌 대화이며,
관객은 감상자가 아니라 참여자다.
사람들과 함께할 때 비로소 작품이 완성되며,
그 안에서 우리는 새로운 이야기를 만들어 간다.

7. 자유를 재정의한다
예술은 자유지만, 개인의 해방에서 멈추지 않는다.
현실과 부딪치고 함께 나아가는 속에서,
사회 전체가 자유로워질 수 있는 감각을 창조하고 싶다.
내가 생존을 위해 예술을 선택한 만큼,
이 예술이 세상을 자유롭게 할 또 하나의 길이 되기를 바란다.

STONROK Artifesto (English Version)

1. Art is Survival
I create art in order to survive. Yet it is not an act of humiliation, but the rawest form of creation.
One day, I ran out of rice in my studio, but even in that desperation, I could not put down my brush.
In that moment, I realized that this very act is why I live,
and that my message must be grounded in reality.

2. I Question
I do not conform to the world.
I keep asking “Why?”, shaking the established order and revealing what remains undefined.
When I hurl questions into my own unease,
new possibilities begin to sprout from the cracks.

3. The Message is a Weapon
Not a mere decoration, but a visual language of declaration.
Beauty is a means, and impact is the goal.
Some may say this expression is too radical,
but I believe this weapon is not violence, but a force for change.
It does not cut the world to wound it,
but severs the bonds that hold us back.

4. I Deconstruct and Rebuild
I dismantle tradition, convention, materials, and techniques,
then stack them up again to form new meaning.
In the process of joining torn posters and collecting discarded metals,
an entirely different vitality emerges.
This is the thrill of experimentation and recreation that I pursue.

5. I Break Down the Boundaries Between Street and Gallery
My work does not remain confined within a gallery.
Walls, cities, brands, digital spaces—
anywhere can be a stage for planting a message.
Stepping beyond the canvas, into the everyday flow of people,
I blend art and life into one.

6. I Unite with the Public
Art is communication and solidarity.
My work is not a monologue, but a dialogue,
where the audience is not mere spectators, but participants.
Only when people join in does a piece truly complete itself,
and together we create new stories in that shared space.

7. I Redefine Freedom
Art is freedom, yet it does not end with individual liberation.
Through confronting reality and moving forward together,
I wish to forge a sense of freedom that encompasses society as a whole.
Since I chose art as a means of survival,
I hope that this very art may become another path to liberate the world.
