STONROK’s solo exhibition [POST ICON] opens July 11(Fri), at 6 PM at ART CUBE 2R2’s B1 Media Cube.
[POST ICON] shifts its focus from fixed symbols to forgotten and continued existences, inviting viewers on a visual journey that questions the essence of symbolism through anonymous figures.
Known for his collaborations with brands such as Nike, New Era, Musinsa, and LG, STONROK has consistently pushed the boundaries between brand culture and street art. This exhibition coincides with his collaborative pop-up with LG and a new project with New Era, expanding his unique world of “coded identity” even further.
As an extension of his representative series ‘Art or Not’, this exhibition presents both new and key works side by side, tracing the evolution and transformation of symbols.
You are invited to explore the layers of identity and emotion hidden beyond familiar signs reframed and deconstructed through STONROK’s own lens.

[POST ICON]은 고정된 상징보다 잊혀지고 이어지는 존재들에 주목하며, 무명의 인물들을 통해 상징의 본질을 다시 묻는 시각적 여정을 제안합니다.
나이키,뉴에라,무신사,LG 등 다양한 브랜드와 협업을 통해 브랜드 문화와 스트릿아트의 경계를 확장해온 STONROK은, 이번 전시와 더불어 LG와의 콜라보 팝업과 뉴에라 협업 소식까지 함께 선보이며, 자신만의 ‘기호화된 정체성’ 세계관을 한층 더 확장해 보여줍니다.
이번 전시는 대표 연작 ‘Art or Not’의 연장선 위에서 신작과 기존 주요 작품을 병렬 구성해, 상징이 어떻게 변화하고 진화하는지를 함께 조망합니다.
익숙한 기호 너머에 숨어 있는 정체성과 감정의 층위를 STONROK만의 감각으로 다시 바라보는 자리, 그 해체와 재구성의 경험에 여러분을 초대합니다.
